About Me
I work broadly in quantum information science, spanning theory and applications in quantum computation, quantum communication, quantum simulation, error correction, and quantum machine learning. I currently serve as Director of the Hon Hai (Foxconn) Quantum Computing Research Center in Taiwan.
Previously, I was an Associate Professor at the University of Technology Sydney and a member of the UTS Centre for Quantum Software and Information (2014–2020). I was also a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Cambridge (2010–2012), and earlier a research scientist in the ERATO-SORST Quantum Computation and Information Project (JST), with affiliation at the University of Tokyo.
I have served in leadership and program roles for major conferences, including AQIS, TQC, QIP, and BIID, and I was Program Chair of TQC 2021 and BIID 2021.
